As discussed in FTR#1236, we noted there are no longer any international reporters in Mariupol ...and the information the world receives about what is going on there comes from the Azov Regiment. “Azov” Zelensky’s presidential campaign was largely funded by Azov-financier Igor Kolomoisky, who also owns the TV network on which Zelensky burnished his media chops. (The election monitors for his election were Azov’s National Druzhyna Militia.)

Max Blumenthal has penned an excellent, and altogether necessary, expose of Azov Regiment’s probable false-flag operation in Mariupol.  “ ...A closer look reveals that local residents in Mariupol had warned three days before the March 16 incident that the theater would be the site of a false flag attack launched by the openly neo-Nazi Azov Battalion, which controlled the building and the territory around it. ...Civilians that escaped the city through humanitarian corridors have testified that they were held by Azov as human shields in area, and that Azov fighters detonated parts of the theater as they retreated. Despite claims of a massive Russian airstrike that reduced the building to ashes, all civilians appear to have escaped with their lives.”

A pair of stories in The Wall Street Journal yield understanding of our media landscape and the degree of propagandizing of same.

Reportage about the WHO’s resumption of its inquiry into the origins of the Covid-19 pandemic hasn’t received much coverage in the U.S.

What coverage there has been has–predictably–focused on the “lack of transparency/cooperation” by China in the probe.

(We reiterate that–at this point in time and sometime before–the Chinese response would have be governed by the disciplines warranted by a wartime investigation of an enemy attack. In this case, a U.S. biological warfare attack. Something of a “bio-Northwoods” operation.)

A remarkable aspect of the Journal’s coverage concerns a development that has been almost completely excised from the Western press: ” . . . . For months, China’s government has insisted both in public, and in private meetings with Dr. Tedros, that studies on the origins of the virus should now focus on other countries, such as Italy, or on a U.S. military bioresearch facility in Fort Detrick, Md. Dozens of governments aligned with China have sent Dr. Tedros letters in support of Beijing’s position, a person familiar with the letters said. . . .”

“Dozens of governments?” Which ones? This sounds like a major international dialogue/scandal. 

WHY aren’t we hearing about it?

I think it affords us some perspective on just how carefully manicured the public perspective is in this country.

In another article in the same issue of the Journal, it was noted that Jeffrey Sachs is disbanding the scientific panel he oversaw on behalf of the prestigious British medical journal The Lancet, due to the presence of EcoHealth Alliance chief Peter Daszak and several other members of the panel associated with the organization.

” . . . . Columbia University professor Jeffrey Sachs said he has disbanded a task force of scientists probing the origins of Covid-19 in favor of wider bio-safety research. Dr. Sachs, chairman of a Covid-19 commission affiliated with The Lancet scientific journals, said he closed the task force because he was concerned about its links to EcoHealth Alliance. . . . EcoHealth Alliance’s president, Peter Daszak, led the task force until recusing himself from that role in June. Some other members of the task force have collaborated with Dr. Daszak or EcoHealth Alliance on projects. . . . .”

EcoHealth Alliance has been heavily involved in coronavirus research–including gain-of-function work–at the Wuhan Institute of Virology. We have noted that the DARPA has been heavily involved with that category of research.

As noted in past programs and discussion, the EcoHealth Alliance is funded primarily by the Department of Defense and USAID, a State Department subsidiary that has often served as a cover for CIA operations. One of the principal advisers of the organization is David Franz, the former commanding officer of Fort Detrick.

Worth noting is that Jeffrey Sachs–an American economics professor–was tabbed to select those personnel to serve on a panel of experts assembled under the auspices of The Lancet–a British medical journal.

In addition to his role advising both Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Sachs headed the U.S. government-funded Harvard University consortium that advised Boris Yeltsin and, in the process, drove Russia back to the stone age.

In Russia, it is widely believed that Sachs work for the CIA–a theory that is bolstered by his pivotal role in managing the narrative concerning the origins of the pandemic.

We have done many programs underscoring our working hypothesis that Covid-19 is a biological warfare weapon, developed by the U.S. and deployed as part of the destabilization program against China we have covered since the fall of 2019.

Introduction: Focusing primarily on an extremely ominous development, these programs set forth a new “War on Cancer,” launched by the Biden administration. The primary rationale for the development of a new federal agency, this new organization appears to be a medical/scientific iteration of DARPA—the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency.

Ominously, it may well be the successor to Richard Nixon’s “War on Cancer,” which did not defeat cancer, but did serve as the apparent platform for the development of biological warfare weapons, AIDS in particular.

The Third Reich’s biological warfare program was masked as a cancer research facility.

Modeled after DARPA, headed by a DARPA alumna whose CV intersects with that Agency’s apparent involvement with the development of Covid-19 and with an acting director who is also a former employee of that benighted organization, this new “health agency–ARPA?H”, this agency will employ new, synthetic biology technology.

Although that development is represented as humanitarian, the structure of the agency and the national security backgrounds of its leading personnel suggest strongly that this agency, too, will serve as a clandestine platform for the next generation of biological weaponry.

The second program begins with a signature point of information—a brief Twitter video of Professor Jeffrey Sachs opining that SARS Cov?2 originated from a U.S. biological laboratory. His frankly obligatory qualification that it was a “blunder” is best understood as “business as usual” for a relatively high-profile public figure.

Were he to say otherwise, he would be subject to retribution, possibly deadly.

As it is now, he will simply be ignored.

<> “Ukraine’s choice to join Europe will accelerate the demise of the ideology of Russian imperialism that Putin represents,” Gershman wrote. “Russians, too, face a choice, and Putin may find himself on the losing end not just in the near abroad but within Russia itself.” In other words, NED is a U.S. government-financed entity that has set its sights on ousting Russia’s current government. 

<> Although it has not been widely reported in this country, there's evidence that the Maidan “uprising” was, in fact, a coup. Assistant Secretary of State for Europe, Victoria Nuland, a Bush State Department hold-over (Victoria Nuland served as assistant secretary of state for Europe during the Obama administration), boasted of having $5 billion invested in Ukraine and was overheard plotting to get her guy, “Yats” [Arseniy Yatsenyuk] in power. Stratfor characterized the Maidan uprising as an obvious coup.

<> Any reference to a “coup” was dismissed as “Russian propaganda.” There was a parallel determination in the U.S. media to discredit or ignore evidence that neo-Nazi militias had played an important role in ousting Yanukovych and in the subsequent suppression of anti-coup resistance in eastern and southern Ukraine. That opposition among ethnic-Russian Ukrainians simply became “Russian aggression.”

<> The technique first emerged on May 2 in the port city of Odessa when pro-regime militants chased dissidents into the Trade Unions Building and then set it on fire. As some 40 or more ethnic Russians were burned alive or died of smoke inhalation, the crowd outside mocked them as red-and-black Colorado potato beetles, with the chant of “Burn, Colorado, burn.” Afterwards, reporters spotted graffiti on the building’s walls containing Swastika-like symbols and honoring the “Galician SS,” the Ukrainian adjunct to the German SS in World War II.

<> Biden & McCain — In the weeks before the coup, according to an intercepted phone call, Nuland discussed with U.S. Ambassador Geoffrey Pyatt who should lead the future regime. Nuland said her choice was Arseniy Yatsenyuk. “Yats is the guy,” she told Pyatt as he pondered how to “midwife this thing.” Sen. John McCain, Arizona, also showed up, standing on stage with right-wing extremists from the Svoboda Party and telling the crowd that the United States was with them in their challenge to the Ukrainian government.  — As the winter progressed, the protests grew more violent. Neo-Nazi and other extremist elements from Lviv and western Ukrainian cities began arriving in well-organized brigades or “sotins” of 100 trained street fighters. Police were attacked with firebombs and other weapons as the violent protesters began seizing government buildings and unfurling Nazi banners and even a Confederate flag. Though Yanukovych continued to order his police to show restraint, he was still depicted in the major U.S. news media as a brutal thug who was callously murdering his own people. The chaos reached a climax on Feb. 20 when mysterious snipers opened fire on police and some protesters, killing scores. As police retreated, the militants advanced brandishing firearms and other weapons. The confrontation led to significant loss of life, pushing the death toll to around 80 including more than a dozen police. — U.S. diplomats and the mainstream U.S. press immediately blamed Yanukovych for the sniper attack, though the circumstances remain murky to this day and some investigations have suggested that the lethal sniper fire came from buildings controlled by Right Sektor extremists. To tamp down the worsening violence, a shaken Yanukovych signed a European-brokered deal on Feb. 21, in which he accepted reduced powers and an early election so he could be voted out of office. He also agreed to requests from Vice President Joe Biden to pull back the police. — The precipitous police withdrawal then opened the path for the neo-Nazis and other street fighters to seize presidential offices and force Yanukovych’s people to flee for their lives. Yanukovych traveled to eastern Ukraine and the new coup regime that took power – and was immediately declared “legitimate” by the U.S. State Department – sought Yanukovych’s arrest for murder. Nuland’s favorite, Yatsenyuk, became the new prime minister.

Abstract: This interview is a distillation of key articles from Robert Parry’s award winning, Consortium News on the subject of Ukraine. (One of the few media people to break from the “group think” to which the American public has been subjected, Parry has presented information at fundamental variance with the “official story.”)

Not surprisingly, Russia has obliged foreign NGO’s to register as “foreign agents,” recognizing their role as agents of covert operation, having been central to the Maidan coup of 2014. The National Endowment for Democracy was set up under the tutelage of William Casey as an adjunct to the CIA. The program highlights that coup d’etat and the shepherd’s role in the operations of Victoria Nuland.

After reviewing the careers of Stephan Bandera and Yaroslav Stetsko and the collaboration between the OUN/B and the Third Reich, the program details the role of Urkainain Nazi formations in the Maidan coup, the provisional and subsequent Ukrainian governments and the fighting units involved in that country’s civil war. Not surprisingly, the Nazi fighting formations have recapitulated their political heritage, burning ethnic Russians alive in buildings in Ukraine. They also appear to have been carrying-out political assassinations of critics and opponents of the government.

Key parts of the program focus on “The Big Lie”: [At that time,] there had been no “Russian invasion” of Ukraine according to key U.S. intelligence analysts. Reconnaissance satellites show that the BUK missile battery that appears to have fired the missile that brought down MH-17 was manned by apparently drunk Ukrainian soldiers. Crimea was not “annexed” or “invaded” by Russia.  Turning to the subject of the “governance” to which the people of Ukraine have been subjected, we note that foreigners have been placed in key positions of power within Ukraine. A particularly alarming development concerns the use of ISIS-linked Chechen Islamists (apparently decamped from Syria) to bolster the “volunteer battalions” in Ukraine. They are fighting under the administrative command of Pravy Sektor. (We have noted in the past how Crimean Tatars have also been working in Ukraine alongside Pravy Sektor.) The broadcast underscores the Orwellian coverage of the event by U.S. and Western mainstream media.

Victoria Nuland  (a Bush State Department holdover) served as assistant secretary of state for Europe during the Obama Administration

• Victoria Nuland, a key player in the EuroMaidan Coup that placed the OUN/B fascist successor organizations in power in Ukraine, was informed of the supposed “Russian” hacks months before senior DNC officials were informed.

• There was a period, from around May of 2015 to March of 2016, where Victoria Nuland ...again, a key EuroMaiden instigator ... knew about these hacks, but the DNC effectively didn’t. In addition, other State Department officials, as well as Victoria Nuland, were informed about the DNC hacks in December of 2015, and tasked with developing a U.S. response.

• ” . . . . That conclusion was reinforced Wednesday by another witness, Victoria Nuland, who served as assistant secretary of state for Europe during the Obama administration. She told the panel she had been briefed as early as December 2015 about the hacking of the Democratic National Committee — long before senior DNC officials were aware of it — and that the intrusion had all the hallmarks of a Russian operation ... As she and other State Department officials became ‘more alarmed’ about what the Russians were up to in the spring of 2016, they were authorized by then Secretary of State John Kerry to develop proposals for ways to deter the Russians... ”

Abstract: As indicated by the title, this broadcast updates and fleshes out a long path of inquiry into the development of fascism in Ukraine, implemented by the OUN/B successor organizations that were empowered by the Maidan Coup of 2014. In past commentary, we have noted the profound Ukrainian and Gehlen-derived links to the supposed “Russian” hacks leading up to, and during, the 2016 U.S. election campaign.

Don’t Think Twice, It’s “Alt-right”: Nazi Fellow Traveler Chuck Johnson Helps Trump Team

“ . . . . Despite his disregard for facts and reckless approach to publishing, Johnson, who was recently photographed at a dinner attended by white supremacists in Washington, D.C., built a significant following among many who self-identified as being a part of the ‘alt-right.’ Trump drew significant support from those same followers during the election ...”

Johnson is now apparently secretly helping the Trump team staff the Executive Branch despite being an open white supremacist neo-Nazi troll. Or perhaps because of that. Either way, if this report is accurate he’s not just passing along a few suggestions to Peter Thiel. He helped create a database of potential appointees:

” . . . . Johnson also helped create a database where potential political appointees could send in their resumes to be considered for government positions. He has access to the website ThePlumlist.com, and though the recently created website remains dormant, candidates have been told to send their information to an email account associated with that domain. In November, The Daily Mail reported that Thiel maintains a database called the “Plum List” to track potential hires and qualified applicants. Sources familiar with the situation described the list as an intake system for the team, and said it was separate from the version that Thiel and his closest associates use to track final selections that are forwarded to Trump. . . .” 

While Charles C. Johnson may not technically be the Helene von Damm of the Trump administration (the Director of Presidential Personnel is John DeStefano), he may well be playing a similar role.

“Whites Only” in Estonia

COMMENT: Dave Emory notes that some of NATO’s most recently-joined members are not hospitable to African-American soldiers. The Baltic states, Estonia in particular, have proved to be inhospitable to black Americans stationed there by NATO. With the Baltic states celebrating their participants in the Waffen SS, this should not come as too much of a surprise.

In 2014, in his speech in Tallinn, U.S. President Obama bravely stated that “the defense of Tallinn and Riga and Vilnius is just as important as the defense of Berlin and Paris and London…You lost your independence once before,” added the first American black president. “With NATO, you will never lose it again.”

• In 2005 in Vilnius, capital of Lithuania, two black American NATO soldiers were attacked in front of a local casino, resulting in severe injuries to both of the soldiers—their faces smashed and their teeth knocked out. American authorities expressed the hope that it was not a “racist attack,” and Lithuania assigned police patrols to any sites frequented by NATO soldiers. . . . .

• In 2015, during the Independence Day parade, while African-American troops wearing NATO uniforms marched on the main street of Estonia’s capital, local racists shouted all kinds of racial slurs, including, “Go back to your grandparents in Nigeria!” Since then, there has been evidence of racism against American NATO troops in restaurants, hotels and on the streets of Estonia, where “Go back to Nigeria!” has become a widely used attack toward dark-skinned American soldiers.

Mar 17, 2022 FTR #1234 Part 07 —This program continues our coverage of the Ukraine War, embodied by the quote from Mort Sahl that is the title of this series. We begin with an article which embodies Mr. Emory’s analysis of the war and its attendant coverage as a “philosopher’s stone,” effecting an alchemical transformation of the U.S., the West in general and most of the people and institutions in them into what might be called “the embodiment of the Ukrainian Institute of National Memory.” Golinkin penned an op-ed piece for The New York Times in which he mentioned none of what he spoke about three years ago. Instead, he repeated anti-Soviet and/or anti-Russian material which is practically institutionalized at this point. At the end of his Nation piece, Golinkin gave voice to a very important insight: ” ... By tolerating neo-Nazi gangs and battalions, state-led Holocaust distortion, and attacks on LGBT and the Roma, the United States is telling the rest of Europe: ‘We’re fine with this.’ The implications—especially at a time of a global far-right revival—are profoundly disturbing...” Note also, that the Ukraine Institute of National Memory has designated the members of the SS Galician Division (pictured at right, below, as victims: ” ... The recuperation even extends to SS Galichina, a Ukrainian division of the Waffen-SS; the director of the Institute of National Memory proclaimed that the SS fighters were ‘war victims.’”

Mar 12, 2022 FTR #1233 Part 06 — We begin by highlighting a full-page ad in the New York Times, attacking Russia for its invasion of Ukraine. “Nobel Laureates Support Ukraine;” Full Page Ad in The New York Times; 3/10/2022; p. A7 [Western Edition]. The ad was paid for by the Ukrainian World Congress. Mr. Emory takes note of a PBS Newshour interview with Artem Semenikhin of the neo-Nazi Svoboda party. Portraying him as an anti-Russian hero, the program does not note that the portrait of OUN/B leader Stephan Bandera is clearly visible in the background, despite the Zoom blurring effect. Next, we tackle “Volodymyr Zelensky and the ‘Jewish Question.’ ” (This is a grim pun. “The Jewish Question” was the Third Reich’s euphemism for the impending “Final Solution” to “The Jewish Question.”) The altogether valid Russian military goal of the invasion was “De-Nazification.” That justification has been attacked as a ruse by using Zelensky’s Jewish affiliation as a rebuttal. In that regard we note: ” ...Zelensky’s top financial backer, the Ukrainian Jewish oligarch Igor Kolomoisky, has been a key benefactor of the neo-Nazi Azov Battalion and other extremists militias ... Igor Kolomoisky, a Ukrainian energy baron of Jewish heritage, has been a top funder of Azov since it was formed in 2014. He has also bankrolled private militias like the Dnipro and Aidar Battalions, and has deployed them as a personal thug squad to protect his financial interests ... Though Zelensky made anti-corruption the signature issue of his campaign, the Pandora Papers exposed him and members of his inner circle stashing large payments from Kolomoisky in a shadowy web of offshore accounts ... They are the ultranationalist National Militia, street vigilantes with roots in the battle-tested Azov Battalion that emerged to defend Ukraine against Russia-backed separatists but was also accused of possible war crimes and neo-Nazi sympathies. Yet despite the controversy surrounding it, the National Militia was granted permission by the Central Election Commission to officially monitor Ukraine’s presidential election on March 31 ... In March 2019, members of the Azov Battalion’s National Corps attacked the home of Viktor Medvedchuk, the leading opposition figure in Ukraine, accusing him of treason for his friendly relations with Vladimir Putin, the godfather of Medvedchuk’s daughter. Zelensky’s administration escalated the attack on Medvedchuk, shuttering  several media outlets he controlled in February 2021 with the open approval of the U.S.  State Department, and jailing the opposition leader for treason three months later. Zelensky justified his actions on the grounds that he needed to ‘fight against the danger of Russian aggression in the information arena.’ Next, in August 2020, Azov’s National Corps opened fire on a bus containing members of Medvedchuk’s party, Patriots for Life, wounding several with rubber-coated steel bullets ... According to one Greek resident in Mariupol recently interviewed by a Greek news station, ‘When you try to leave you run the risk of running into a patrol of the Ukrainian fascists, the Azov Battalion,’ he said, adding ‘they would kill me and are responsible for everything.’

Mar 10, 2022 FTR #1232 Part 05 — President Putin has been portrayed as a “madman” in the West. As we have seen, his stated war goal of “De-Nazification” is altogether relevant and valid. The article below is summed up as follows: ” ...After a ‘New York Times’ reporter grossly distorted what Putin and Zelensky have said and done about nuclear weapons, Steven Starr corrects the record and deplores Western media, in general, for misinforming and leading the entire world in a dangerous direction...” Putin’s claim that Ukraine was seeking nuclear weapons also is substantive.  Mr. Emory has stated that he think that Putin fell into a well-laid trap, a European iteration of the Afghanistan gambit, in which Zbigniew Brzezinski lured the Soviet Union into invading Afghanistan, in order to give them their “Vietnam.” Together with the deliberate collapse of petroleum prices, that war helped topple the U.S.S.R. Ian Brzezinski, Zbigniew’s son, is a key member of the Atlantic Council–one of the major vehicles for the OUN milieu’s activities in the United States.

Mar 06, 2022 FTR #1231 Part 04 —As mentioned by Mr. Emory in the last program, the war and its attendant coverage has had the effect of the mythological “Philosophers’ Stone” of the alchemists, creating an alchemical transformation of this country, its political culture and citizenry, the EU and UK, their political cultures and citizenry and much of the world into the Orwellian historical perversion being enacted by the Ukrainian Institute of National Memory. In numerous broadcasts, we have noted the Orwellian rewrite of Ukrainian history to deny the perpetrators of the Holocaust in that country and whitewash the Nazi-allied OUN/B and UPA. An article in Foreign Policy (published by “The Washington Post” and consequently VERY mainstream), further develops the activities of Volodymyr Viatrovych, appointed as head of the Institute of National memory by Viktor Yuschenko and then re-appointed by Petro Petroshenko. After the Yushcneko government left power and prior to the Maidan coup, Viatrovych was in the U.S., working as a fellow at Harvard University’s Ukrainian Research Institute. This is in line with the fundamental role of the OUN/B?based American emigre community in the generation of the Orange Revolution and the Maidan coup.

Mar 03, 2022 FTR #1230 Part 03 — Actor Ashton Kutcher tweeted support for Ukraine, where his wife, Mila Kunis, was born. ...A Member of the Ukrainian Parliament from the far-right Svoboda Party [Igor Miroshnichenko] … sneeringly proclaimed that [Kunis] was not Ukrainian but a zhydovka. This deeply hurtful slur for a Jew was an alarming gutter effort to inject Jew-hatred into the acceptable bounds of mainstream Ukrainian discourse ... Many key ministerial posts in the new Ukrainian government have been filled by Swoboda and Pravy Sektor, the political heirs to the OUN/B. The supervision of the military and the judicial process is under the sway of those parties. ...The man facing down Putin’s aggression as secretary of the Ukrainian National Security and Defence Council is Andriy Parubiy. He oversees national security for the nation having previously served as security commandant during the anti-government protests in Kiev. ...Overseeing the armed forces alongside Parubiy as the Deputy Secretary of National Security is Dmytro Yarosh, the leader of the Right Sector ...The new Deputy Prime Minister Oleksandr Sych is a member of the far-right Svoboda party ...Svoboda now controls the ecology and agricultural ministry with Andriy Mokhnyk, the deputy head of Svoboda, running ecology and Ihor Shvaika as agriculture minister ...‘There are seven ministers with links to the extreme right now. It began with Svoboda getting 10 per cent of the vote in the last election, it is certainly a concern in the long run.’ ...Svoboda member Oleh Makhnitsky is now acting prosecutor general.”

Feb 28, 2022 FTR #1229 Part 02 — A key player in the events that brought the OUN successor organizations to power in Ukraine has been the Atlantic Council. It receives backing from NATO, the State Department, Lithuania and Ukrainian Oligarch Viktor Pinchuk. Ukrainian proto-fascist forces were at the core of Josef Pilsudski’s Polish-led Intermarium and overlapping Promethean organizations. Those forces coalesced into the OUN. The continuity of institutional and individual trajectories from Second World War collaborationists to Cold War-era anti-communist organizations to contemporary conservative U.S. think tanks is significant for the ideological underpinnings of today’s Intermarium revival. According to former Army intelligence officer William Gowen (a source used and trusted by John Loftus and Mark Aarons) the Intermarium and Promethean network assets were used by Third Reich intelligence during World War II. ...Based on Gowen’s reports, such authors as Christopher Simpson, Stephen Dorril, Mark Aarons, and John Loftus have suggested that the networks of the Promethean League and the Intermarium were utilized by German intelligence.”

Feb 27, 2022 FTR #1228 Part 01 — Note that Putin’s stated war aim: “De-Nazification” is not only substantively relevant, but just. In December of 2021, the U.N. voted 130–2 on a motion to condemn celebrations of Nazism. Only the U.S. and Ukraine voted against it. The EU and UK abstained. The first two of a number of programs that will deal with the outbreak of war in Ukraine, these programs begin the detailed documentation of the ascent of the OUN/B successor groups to positions of power in the national security, police, educational and political establishments in Ukraine. These programs will highlight and recap the exhaustive documentation presented over the roughly eight-year period since the Maidan coup, documenting the OUN/B Nazi dominance in Ukraine.
